Summer Baseball Teams
Hunterdon Blue Jays
SUMMER BASEBALL TEAMS
Flemington Baseball & Softball will be putting together competitive baseball teams for the 2012 Summer season for its Hunterdon Blue Jays baseball program.
The season will begin on Memorial Day Weekend and will go through the end of July or first week of August. Winter Workouts will begin once the teams have been selected. Each team will be placed in a league and will be guaranteed at least 4 tournaments (NJ and PA). The focus on our Team Programs will be highly competitive play and to develop our players.
AGE GROUPS: 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U.
The teams will be overseen by Steve Farsiou who is one of the owners of Flemington Baseball & Softball and the manager of the Flemington Senior Legion baseball team. As the Flemington Legion manager, Steve has collected a record of 102-20 in 4 years and has consistently placed his players into college programs. Two of his players are playing professionally. He has been coaching highly competitive teams in the Central New Jersey area for the past 15 years. From 2005 through 2007, he was the Manager of the Readington Renegades, who reached the 14U Babe Ruth World Series in 2005 finishing 5th in the country. He compiled a record of 115-15-1 winning 3 consecutive State championships and 1 Regional championship.
The cost per player will be $1095 to $1295 (depending upon number of tournaments). Each player will receive a jersey and a hat. The players will be required to purchase white pants. Included in the team fee is cage time at the Flemington Baseball & Softball facility. In addition, each team will have at least one paid coach. Any travel expenses for tournaments are not included.
